ROUTE DESCRIPTION:
After a short ascent on the Hauptstraße, we leave the village on the right and take the pleasant ascent to the Stadlalm. Just the brief ascent to the Tempelweg and the rest of the trail in the direction of the Karersee/Lago di Carezza is fl at. Now comes the next ascent to the Mitterleger, where the cliff is already within reach. Path no. 21 brings us to the Karerpass/Passo di Costalunga and we then continue along the Rosengarten where, somewhere, a beautiful alm will invite us to take a lunch break.
Either the Carezza Trail or the descent at the Nigerpass/Passo Nigra brings us back to Welschnofen/Nova Levante.
